Privacy Policy of the Fuel Radar app

This is a translation provided for convenience. The Russian-language version is the legally binding version; in case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails.

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes what data the Fuel Radar mobile app (the "App") processes, for what purposes, on what legal basis, to whom it may be disclosed, and what rights the user has. The Policy has been prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 "On Personal Data" and applicable requirements of the app stores.

By installing and using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.

1. Personal data operator

The operator that determines the purposes and means of data processing is the individual Nikolaev Stanislav Pavlovich.

2. What data we process

The amount of data depends on whether you sign in to an account. In guest mode, the App can be used without registration — in that case we do not know your name or email.

2.1. Account data (when signing in via Yandex ID)

We receive this data from the Yandex ID service only after your explicit consent in the authorization dialog. The password to your Yandex account is not available to us.

Any permission can be revoked in the device's system settings.

6. Advertising

The App displays advertising through the Yandex Ads ad network (Yandex). The device advertising identifier and technical data may be used to display and measure advertising. You can limit ad personalization: on Android — reset/disable the advertising identifier in Google settings; on iOS — decline the tracking request (ATT). The processing of data by the ad network is governed by its own documents.

7. Analytics

Yandex AppMetrica (Yandex) is used for usage analytics and crash diagnostics. The service processes de-identified technical data and identifiers. AppMetrica data is processed within the territory of the Russian Federation.

8. Push notifications

Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). For this purpose, the device's push token is transferred to the service. Processing is carried out on Google's infrastructure, which involves cross-border transfer of data (see section 10).

9. To whom we disclose data

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be disclosed only to the following processors and only to the extent necessary for the operation of the App:

10. Cross-border transfer

The personal data of users who are citizens of the Russian Federation is initially recorded and stored on servers located within the territory of the Russian Federation (Yandex Cloud). Certain technical data (for example, the push token) may be processed by Google on infrastructure outside the Russian Federation. Such transfer is carried out with your consent and to the extent necessary to provide the service.

11. Data retention and protection

Data is stored on servers in the Russian Federation (Yandex Cloud) with the application of organizational and technical protection measures (access restrictions, encryption of connections). We retain personal data no longer than is necessary for the stated purposes, or than is required by law.

Upon withdrawal of consent or deletion of the account, personal data is deleted or de-identified no later than 30 days, except for information that we are required to retain by law or that is necessary to ensure security and to handle requests from authorized bodies (in particular, service logs, IP addresses, and technical identifiers). Such information is stored with restricted access for the period established by law — up to 6 months — and is then deleted.

The publicly available content you have posted (for example, price marks and comments) is de-identified after account deletion — detached from your identity (the author is shown as a "Deleted user") — so as not to compromise the integrity of the shared price data.

To delete your account and the personal data associated with it, send a request from the email address linked to the account to n1k5tas@yandex.ru with the subject "Account deletion". Details and steps are on the "Delete account" page. We handle the request as follows:

The App is not intended for or directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from persons below the age at which independent consent to data processing is permitted. If you believe that we have become aware of a child's data, please write to us — we will delete it.

15. Cookies and similar technologies

The App does not use browser cookies, but it does use device and installation identifiers, as well as local storage on the device — for the operation of features, analytics, and advertising, as described above.

16. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available in the App in the "About the app" section. We will reflect material changes in the update date at the top of the document.
